In a constantly changing and unsteady world, giving our children hope and values worth holding is a priority. Throughout our program year, elementary aged children attend Sunday School during the first portion of our 10:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist to learn the story of faith and find their place in it.
Once a month, children and their families have the option to worship together in the Children’s Chapel before joining the rest of the congregation for the Eucharist. We have a professionally staffed nursery for children ages 0–3. During the summer, we also offer a week-long Vacation Bible School for ages K–6.

Our Youth Group meets during the school year to grow more deeply in faith, connect with friends, and to engage in service projects for the church and wider community.

We offer opportunities for study and conversation throughout the week as opportunities to grow in wisdom as disciples—a word which means “student” or “apprentice”—of Jesus.
Designed especially for lay formation, Education for Ministry (EfM) is a church-wide program of study and theological reflection using a curriculum developed by The University of the South.
Through study, prayer, reflection, and laughter, participants learn to examine their lives and how they can serve God in everyday ways authentic to each individual. Far more than a Bible study, EfM participants read and discuss the Old and New Testaments, Church history, and current books on theology. EfM meets weekly during the academic year with options to join either the Classic four-year program or the one-year Wide Angle course.

Presented annually in memory of Robert Duncan McJimsey (1936–2009), Professor of History at Colorado College and beloved member of Grace & Saint Stephen's. These lectures bring together scholars, clergy, and community members for a day of learning and conversation.
